Our customer needed an accessibility review of a nationally significant website to identify any opportunities for accessibility improvements

THE CHALLENGE

Our customer needed a comprehensive accessibility review for a large website they were developing to ensure inclusivity for all users, including those using assistive technologies. The goal was to identify potential barriers and areas for improvement, building upon an initial developer report. Due to the website’s extensive nature, a representative sample of pages was reviewed

THE SOLUTION

Peak Signal undertook a multi-faceted accessibility assessment. This included reviewing the developer’s initial report, conducting a technical assessment using an accessibility assessment tool, performing a screen-reader assessment and undertaking a human review of key elements like links, videos, and PDFs. The findings were compiled into a detailed report with both existing good practice and recommended actions identified
