Our customer provides live theatre and event captioning services for some of the most diverse and prestigious arts and cultural organisations in the UK – Peak Signal worked closely with the customer to understand how their long experience and knowledge of in-theatre captioning can be extended for distributed audiences – including streaming and immersive experiences.

THE CHALLENGE

Our customer defines best practises for theatre captioning in the UK. Increasingly theatres are communicating with distributed audiences and wanted to understand whether and how their baseline in-theatre best practises could be extended for distributed audiences and immersive experiences.

THE SOLUTION

Peak Signal worked with the customer and their users to capture baseline in-theatre best practises, and mapped these to theatrical experiences for distributed and immersive audiences. Peak Signal used these baseline requirements to drive new product development and the creation of several prototypes.
